Handrail is built and operated in partnership with a Kentucky software studio founded in 1999. Across that quarter-century, the studio has shipped self-checkout systems, enterprise ERP platforms, retail and operations tooling, custom web platforms, and consumer apps that have had to keep running after launch.
What we have learned, over and over, is that customers do not actually want a "delivery process." They want shipped software, with no surprises, on a cadence they can plan around. Handrail is the operating system we built so we could give them exactly that — and now we're opening it up.
